I've been following Kadijah Adkinson's case since it happened, and I can't stop thinking about the impact on her family, especially her mother. Losing a child is unimaginable, and to deal with the loss of Kadijah, plus her unborn grandchild, must be unbearable. It's a pain I wouldn’t wish on anyone. It’s really concerning how domestic disputes can escalate so drastically, right in what is supposed to be the safety of one's home. I wonder how the community is supporting her family. Does anyone know if there are any ongoing efforts or support groups forming to help them through this? It just feels like we should be doing more to surround them with love and support during such a dark time. My thoughts are certainly with them.
