Hey everyone, just stumbled on an interesting tidbit regarding the Adam Emery case and thought I'd share. Has anyone looked into the exercise weights they purchased before disappearing? I mean, why would someone buy weights right before a supposed suicide? It has always struck me as an odd detail. Could it have been a calculated part of their plan to throw people off, or did it reflect some other intention?
Also, the athletic wear purchase is baffling if they truly intended to jump off the bridge. Seems like an interesting angle to consider. Do any of you think it might connect to the sightings in Italy? Perhaps, it’s meant for keeping a low profile if he intended to run. The mystery around their actions on that day keeps me searching for more clues. What do you guys think?
Does anyone else find the timing of the shopping trip Adam and Elena took on the day of his conviction a bit odd? I mean, I get that people might do strange things when they're under stress, but heading out to buy exercise weights and athletic wear right after finding out you’re going to prison for second-degree murder seems so bizarre to me. Could it have been a planned part of their disappearance all along? Maybe they wanted to create some sort of diversion or throw people off the scent.
