I’ve been following Paul Scovens' case and wanted to touch on something that really gets to me: the lack of witness testimonies. It seems that fear and distrust of law enforcement in areas like North Montford Avenue make it incredibly hard to gather any info. Can’t help but feel for Paul's family—knowing the answers might be out there but are just out of reach due to deep-seated issues of safety and trust. It’s baffling and frustrating. How do we even start addressing these barriers? It’s yet another reminder of the long road ahead for justice, not just for Paul but for so many others lost in the system.
