Has anyone else been looking into the social dynamics around the 5400 block of Sinclair Lane? It's been consistently flagged as a high-crime area, and it makes me wonder how that environment might have impacted Durell Roach's situation. I feel for his family and friends who have to deal with losing him and also face the uncertainty and fear that hover over the neighborhood. Were there any community initiatives in place back in 2011 that tried to tackle the crime rates in that area, or did it seem like people were just forced to fend for themselves? It seems like such a difficult environment to thrive in, not to mention the emotional toll. If anyone has insight into community responses back then, that might help us understand more about the challenges Roach and others faced.
