Has anyone else noticed how Phu Tan Nguyen’s case seems to be getting less attention than others from that same time period? I was just looking through missing persons databases, and it's alarming how few updates there have been over the years. Even the descriptions of what he was wearing — like that burgundy Tommy Hilfiger sweatshirt — feel like the only clues they have. It makes me wonder if there are any undisclosed details that could help us understand what happened back in '96. Why do some cases end up with more coverage or leads than others? If anyone has thoughts or theories about the media coverage aspect of cold cases, I’d be interested to hear them.
