Does anyone else find it deeply unsettling how this case unfolded within such a close-knit community? Chickamauga isn't exactly the kind of place where you expect such a horrific event to take place, especially with someone like Pat, who seemed to know everyone and had a respectable position in law enforcement. It's incredibly sad for both sides of the Wooten family. I can't help but think about the impact this has on those who knew them. Those who played football with Lance or were coached by Pat must be struggling to process this. I really hope they’re finding support amongst each other during this tough time. If anything, it stresses the importance of never assuming we fully understand what's going on behind closed doors, even in families that seem "perfect" to the outside world. Thoughts and prayer for all affected by this tragedy.
