Hey everyone, I've been following the Chris Ervin case, and I'm really struck by the reaction of the witnesses who were at the scene that day. From what I’ve read, one witness was right there when Johnnie Hudson asked them to call 911 after the shooting. It’s hard to imagine witnessing such a traumatic event unfolding in real-time. I'm sure it must've been incredibly alarming for them, not just to see Chris get shot but also to process everything that happened afterward. Witnesses often don't get enough attention in these cases, but their testimonies are so critical in seeking justice and understanding the sequence of events. It makes you wonder how a moment of anger spiraled so quickly into something utterly devastating. My heart goes out to Chris’s family and friends as well as those who were at the scene. It’s a devastating reminder of how fleeting—and precious—life truly is.
