I've been following the case and I can't stop thinking about the impact on the two minor children who witnessed these horrific events. I can't begin to imagine the emotional trauma they must be experiencing. It's so crucial that they’re getting the support they need to heal from such a life-altering event. Community resources and mental health services can make a huge difference in helping them cope. The community of Albany has shown resilience, but I hope there's an ongoing effort to provide support not just for these children, but for all those affected by the tragedy. It’s reassuring to know that justice was served, but we must remember that healing for everyone involved is an ongoing process.
