Does anyone have information about the state of homeless services or shelters in Grand Junction around the time Abeyta went missing? Considering he was living on the streets, I wonder if there were any community organizations or shelters that might have records or recollections of him. It's sad to think of someone disappearing so completely – it seems like such a long time for his family to not have reported him missing. Maybe local archives or newspaper reports from that time could provide some leads. Just a thought as we try to piece together any kind of timeline for his last known whereabouts.

I can't stop thinking about the fact that Abeyta never picked up his last paycheck from Safeway. It feels like such a crucial detail in his disappearance. I mean, it's not like he would just forget about that paycheck, especially considering his situation of living on the streets. Could something have happened to him right after his shift? Or maybe he intended to grab it but something or someone got in the way? I hope his family and law enforcement gave this aspect the attention it deserved during the investigation. It's odd, right? Does anyone have thoughts on how significant this might be to figuring out what happened to him?
