It's so tragic to think about John Kelly and how his life was cut short at just 25. I recently read about how many cases like his have been left without resolution in Baltimore, and it just breaks my heart thinking about his family and friends, who still don’t have answers. One thing that stands out about John's case is the sheer challenge faced by local law enforcement during that time. With the homicide rate in Baltimore being one of the highest in the country in 2011, it's no wonder cases struggled to progress. It's not just about the lack of evidence — there seemed to be a real absence of witnesses willing to come forward. No doubt this made an already tough job for detectives almost impossible. John's family deserves to know why this happened and who is responsible. Let's hope someone finds it in their heart to come forward with the information needed to finally bring John and his loved ones some peace. Anyone out there with even the smallest bit of info could make all the difference.
