Has anyone else heard about the odd circumstances regarding Manuel Martines' disappearance back in '99? I read through the available info and can't help but wonder—why would someone like Manuel, who knew the area so well, just vanish without a trace? It’s like no one saw anything or heard anything that night. Mendota isn’t that big, and people generally keep tabs on their neighbors, so it baffles me that no clues have ever turned up. Did someone follow him, or did he have a hidden plan to leave? It's eerie that it's been so many years without any answers. Thoughts on why there's such a lack of evidence?

Has anyone else looked into the weather conditions on the night Manuel went missing? January in Mendota can get pretty chilly at night, and if he walked out without a jacket, it's odd he’d venture far. Maybe he intended just a quick walk around, thinking he'd return soon? I’m also curious if there were any local events or gatherings around that time where people might have seen or heard something.
