I've been thinking a lot about the impact on the surviving teenager involved in the Byromville shootings. At just 17, witnessing something so horrific must have been incredibly traumatic. It's such a small community, and I imagine they all know each other, which makes this even more distressing. This young girl not only lost a little boy she likely cared for and a caretaker she was probably close to, but she also had to survive a violent attack herself. I hope she’s receiving the support and counseling she needs to process this tragedy and heal from the physical and emotional wounds. It's hard to comprehend the random violence she had to face, and my heart goes out to her and everyone in Byromville. Has there been any outreach or support organized for her and the other witnesses from the mobile home community?
