Hi everyone,
I’ve been digging into some details about the aftermath of the tragedy involving Kalliber Chambers. I recently found information about a community-led vigil that took place a week after the incident. Friends, family, and even some folks who didn’t know Kalliber personally came together at Birch Landing Apartments to pay their respects and support his loved ones. They shared memories and released balloons in his honor, which I thought was a beautiful way to celebrate his life.
It seemed like this brought the community closer, even amidst such a horrible situation. Kalliber’s passion for keeping his neighborhood safe really shone through—in many of the stories people shared, it was clear he genuinely cared about others. Has anyone come across any interviews or quotes from attendees that further elaborate on the sense of community and support after his passing? I'd love to hear more about how they've been coping and standing in solidarity together.
Rest in peace, Kalliber. Your bravery and kindness won’t be forgotten.
