I’ve been following the case of Huey Neal closely, and something that really stands out to me is the role of the funeral home employees. It's chilling to think that it was their attention to detail that ultimately prompted the authorities to dig deeper into what really happened to this poor man. Can we just take a moment to appreciate how important their observations were? Without them noticing those suspicious wounds, Carmen Hunt might never have been connected to the case. It’s just so upsetting to consider how initially these crucial signs were overlooked, leading to years of pain and uncertainty for Huey Neal’s family. I'm really hoping the legal proceedings shed more light on how initial investigations can be so easily misled. Neal’s family deserves peace and justice, and I can't imagine how frustrating it must have been for them to push and fight for the truth all on their own initially. Thoughts are definitely with them during this trying time.
