I’ve been thinking a lot about Daekwon Jacorbian Hines and how close to home this case hits for so many of us, especially in small communities like Thomson, GA. My heart truly goes out to his family, especially his mother, Moneck Gaines, who did everything she could to give him a better life. It must be unbearable not only to lose a child but to have no answers about who is responsible. I've been wondering about the location where Daekwon was found. Can anyone familiar with the area provide some insights into whether it's a place frequented by locals, or if it seems more like somewhere someone might have gone specifically to hide something? The fact that his body was discovered so close to his grandmother's home is chilling. It makes me think the perpetrator might have known him or his family well enough to be aware of the area. I’m truly hoping that someone, anyone, who knows something will come forward. Whether it’s people in the community or elsewhere, someone must have noticed something that can help piece this together. Keeping Daekwon’s story alive and discussing even the small details can sometimes lead to those crucial breakthroughs. Sending all my support to his loved ones as they continue to fight for justice.
