Has anyone else looked into why Carlos Martinez's case didn’t get more media attention when he first went missing? It seems like, initially, there wasn't much coverage or urgency from the media compared to other missing persons cases. I understand he may have been experiencing homelessness, but that shouldn’t detract from the effort to find him. Public awareness is so crucial, and sometimes I feel like people simply slip through the cracks because they don’t fit a certain narrative. It's frustrating to think he might have had more help if his disappearance had a larger spotlight back in 2018. Maybe reaching out to some local news outlets might get his story some renewed attention? What do you guys think?

Has anyone come across news or updates about Carlos Martinez's case recently? I was thinking about the area where he was last seen—Vermont Avenue and Adams Boulevard—and am curious if there's been any effort to canvass local businesses again. It's been a while since he disappeared, but maybe a new store owner or employee might have noticed something back in 2018 that could help. Businesses in busy areas like that often have turnover in staff, and it could be worth revisiting this angle. Also, has anyone looked into whether there are nearby shelters or community programs that could have more info? Sometimes they keep records of who comes in for services, and someone might have spotted him back then.

Does anyone know if there have been any surveillance footage reviews from businesses around Vermont Avenue and Adams Boulevard around the time Carlos went missing? Considering there was a Baskin Robbins nearby, I'm wondering if any local shops might have caught something on camera without realizing its significance at the time. Even grainy footage could give us a clue. It’s been so long, but sometimes those little overlooked details can make a difference. Maybe someone local could reach out to businesses to see if they archive older recordings? Just a thought.
