I’ve been following Beverly Jenkins’s case and just learned more about the incredible work she did with City of Refuge. Her dedication to the Westside community was truly inspiring and it’s devastating to think her life was cut short in such a senseless way. I keep thinking about all the lives she could have continued to touch and the change she was making. Makes me appreciate every moment brave souls like Beverly put into making the world a better place. Sending love and strength to her family and everyone who knew her. They lost someone truly special, and so did the world.
