I was just going through some old case files and thought about something: why would Francisca Martinez discard only the shirt and boots if there were so many other pieces of evidence found at the scene? It's puzzling to me. If she really had something to do with Diana Moreno-Acevedo's disappearance, wouldn't she have tried to get rid of more evidence? It's almost like she wanted to be caught. Or maybe she was trying to protect someone else? The fact that there were stab-like holes in the clothing is chilling. I still can't wrap my head around this case. The involvement of Santería adds another layer of complexity. Could it have been a performance of Santería that went wrong, or is that just a red herring? So many questions remain unanswered.
