Hi everyone. I came across the case of John Bennis recently, and something that struck me was how abruptly his life seemed to change after his wife passed away. It's really concerning how quickly he got caught up with opiates. I remember reading somewhere that addiction can sometimes make people isolate themselves from friends and family. Do you think this might have been a factor in his disappearance? It makes me wonder if his friends or family noticed any signs but maybe didn’t realize how serious it was at the time. I hope wherever he is, he found some peace. Thoughts?

I'm really curious about John's background before his wife passed away. From what I've gathered, it seems like he had a stable life before falling into opiate use. Does anyone have more details about his life back then or any possible stressors that might have contributed to his changed behavior? Sometimes digging into a person's history can offer new insights into their disappearance, or at least give us a better understanding of potential reasons for such a drastic change. If anyone knows more or has theories, I'd love to hear them.
