Has anyone else found it strange that Ricardo Castillo's case hasn't gotten more media attention? It's so bizarre to me how someone can just vanish from a hospital. You'd think that with all the staff and security around, it would be almost impossible. I was reading up on similar cases, and there always seems to be at least some kind of clue or witness, but with Ricardo, it's like he disappeared into thin air. Are there any theories out there on how he could have slipped away without being noticed? It makes you wonder about the procedures in place back then and if anything's changed in hospitals to prevent this kind of thing from happening again. Anyone in the Fresno area remember this case being talked about locally back in 2004?
I’ve been following Ricardo Castillo’s case for a while, and I keep coming back to that huge gap in communication right before he vanished. It's endlessly frustrating how critical details can fall through the cracks. The fact that he was last seen at UMC but then just vanished like that—it makes you wonder about procedural stuff at the time, like security protocols and how these situations were supposed to be handled. Was anyone interviewed from the hospital or security to find out what they saw or knew? Sometimes I think these routine procedures and everyday oversights are where we miss crucial info. Has anyone else found any public documents or interviews that could shed light on what may have happened that day?
