The tragedy surrounding Myron Pierce's death really makes you wonder about the lack of security at local gas stations, especially in areas like Glenwood Avenue. It’s deeply troubling to think that a simple trip to get snacks could end in such a devastating loss. Could improved surveillance or security presence have possibly deterred this violent confrontation? With so many people coming and going daily, shouldn't these stations be safer community spaces? My thoughts are with Myron’s family, especially after reading about the emotional court scene. Nothing will bring back their loved one, but stricter safety protocols might prevent another family from experiencing similar pain. What do you all think about the safety measures in place at these locations? Is there more that should be done?
