I’ve been following the Therese Bradley Horton case, and I just can’t get over the role that club security played. It’s one thing to have security present, but their quick response really stood out. It’s easy to criticize or overlook security teams, but they truly stepped up in this instance by detaining Candace Morgan until police arrived. They likely prevented an already tragic situation from escalating further and kept other bystanders safe. This tragedy serves as a stark reminder of the importance of proper training and rapid response from security personnel, especially in crowded or volatile environments. My heart goes out to Therese's loved ones, who lost her in such a devastating way, and to all who have been touched by this loss. It’s crucial that night venues continue to prioritize safety and preparedness so something like this doesn’t happen again.
