I've been following the tragic case of Christopher Donald Smith and wanted to focus on the locations of the shootings. It's eerie how both Chris and Alfonso Edward Thompson Jr. were killed along 85th Street on the same night. I've done some research on the area, and it seems like a typical suburban neighborhood—definitely not a place you'd expect such violent incidents to occur, let alone two in one night. Does anyone familiar with New Carrollton know if there was anything unusual happening around that time? Perhaps there were local events or occurrences that might have drawn unwanted attention to the area? It feels like there's an untapped aspect to the environment that day that might offer more clues. To Chris's family and friends, I can't imagine the pain you're going through, especially with so many unanswered questions. Here's hoping the community or someone who knows more about that night comes forward with information.
