I've been following Jamareion Davis's case, and something that's been on my mind is the role of the community in handling situations like these. It’s so important for neighbors to come together and stand against the violence that's affecting our youth. The fact that Jamareion was just outside his own home when this happened is absolutely devastating. I can't imagine the pain his family is going through. It makes me think about what we can do to create safer spaces for kids to play and grow up in, free from fear. Are there any community initiatives in Columbus working towards this? I feel like supporting local efforts could be vital in making long-term changes.
