I’ve been thinking a lot about workplace violence lately, especially after hearing about Alexis Reed’s tragic death. It’s terrifying to think that someone you work with could harbor such intentions. Alexis seemed to be someone who simply wanted to do her job and head home, just like any of us. Knowing that she was ambushed after a long shift is so unsettling. I can't imagine what her coworkers must be going through now, knowing it was one of their own who took her life. My heart goes out to Alexis's family and friends. They deserved to have her here, living her life, and not dealing with this unimaginable loss. If only things could have been different...
