Has anyone else been thinking about the impact this tragedy might have on the children? It’s hard to imagine what kind of emotional turmoil they are going through after witnessing such a traumatic event. It's a gut-wrenching reminder of how domestic violence not only affects the direct victim but also leaves long-lasting scars on the entire family, especially the kids who were right there in the house. If anyone has any insights or resources on how children can be supported in the aftermath of such events, please share. My heart goes out to them, and I hope they find some peace and healing over time.
I can't stop thinking about Stephanie's career as a registered nurse and how she dedicated her life to helping others. It's so tragic that she found herself in a position where she needed help that didn’t come in time. I can't imagine the emotional toll all of this has taken on her colleagues and patients, knowing that someone who was such a beacon of care and compassion ended up as a victim of such violence. If anyone has insight into what Stephanie was like at work or stories about her that you'd be willing to share, I think it might help honor her memory and remind us all of the impact she had on those around her. My heart goes out to everyone affected, particularly her children, who have to carry this traumatic experience with them.
