I’ve been following Quincy Atkins’ case from Columbus, and something that really stands out to me is the courage it must have taken for Dwayne Jackson and Anthony McGhee to testify. I can't imagine the fear of coming forward in a situation involving potential gang activities. Their testimonies were crucial, even though they faced risks and had their own pasts. It’s a reminder of how difficult it can be to get justice, but it's so important for the truth to come out. I'm grateful for their bravery. It also makes me think about the larger issue of how we support witnesses in such cases. Does anyone know if there’s any initiative in the area to protect those who step up to testify? It seems like such an important aspect of getting justice for Quincy and others. Thoughts?
