I’ve been thinking a lot about Erica’s love for travel and music and how those passions tell us so much about her. It’s just so incredibly tragic to see someone with such an adventurous spirit have their life cut short in such a senseless way. From what I understood, she had so much joy left to give and experiences yet to explore. Her bond with her family, especially her mom and sister, really resonates with me. I can’t even begin to imagine the pain they’re going through. It’s comforting to know that her legacy of living boldly and connecting deeply with others is something that her family and friends can hold onto. I hope they find some peace and that justice is served for Erica and Joshua. It’s heartbreaking to think of the ripple effects of that night on Auburn Avenue. If anyone has updates on the case or knows if there are any ongoing initiatives in Atlanta to curb this violence, please share. It feels important to stay informed and supportive in any way we can.
