I've been following the case of Alfred Lee Smith, and I just can't stop thinking about his love for music and how much it meant to him and his community. It's so haunting to think that his joyous spirit, which he shared so freely through his music, was taken away from the world in such a violent way. I've read that Alfred was not only a talented musician but also spent time mentoring kids in his neighborhood, introducing them to music and giving them a positive outlet. It really speaks to what kind of person he was—someone who truly cared about others and left a lasting mark on those around him. It's incredibly frustrating and sad to see the investigation still struggling to move forward. I hope that there are people out there—perhaps even in the community—who might have seen or heard something that can finally bring some answers. Sending lots of strength and peace to Alfred's family and his friends. They deserve to see justice for him, and he deserves to be remembered for the joy he brought to so many.
