Last night, I was thinking about Donovan Durham and how he was just starting out in life at 20 years old. It's incredibly sad to think about all the moments he'll never have and the dreams he won't get to pursue. This should never happen to anyone, let alone someone with so much potential. I can't even imagine what his family and friends must be going through—losing someone so young and vibrant. They deserve all the support they can get from the community. It really brings into focus how urgent it is for us to work together to address the violence that's disrupting too many lives in Stone Mountain. Hoping for justice to be served for Donovan and that some peace comes to those who loved him.
