Has anyone else been following the Nicholas Martez Nelson case in Newnan? I'm still trying to wrap my head around how someone could be driven to such lengths of violence. I'm particularly troubled by the fact that all this started with a burglary and then just spiraled out of control to these devastating murders. I think often about Tangela Molden, Monte James Ballard, and Michael Lang, and the fact they were left in that Motel 6 for two days before being discovered. It's unimaginable what their families must be enduring, knowing their loved ones' lives ended so violently and without immediate discovery. If anyone in the community has insight into how the victims have been memorialized or how their families are coping now, I'd really appreciate your thoughts. It's just so important to remember that these aren't just names in the news but people who were deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.
