Hey everyone,
I've been following Tanya Askew's case closely, and I just can't get over the fact that there hasn't been any progress on identifying a suspect. It's disheartening to think how this wonderful woman's murder remains unsolved nearly three years later. Tanya was part of our community, frequently seen around downtown Augusta, and it's like the streets feel different knowing she's no longer there.
What really gets to me is the lack of any new information from the authorities. I know the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office has their hands full, but it's crucial for us as a community to keep the conversation going. If anyone out there knows anything, even the smallest detail, it could be the missing piece law enforcement needs.
It's scary to think the person responsible is still out there, and Tanya's friends and family deserve closure. Let’s keep pushing for answers and hope someone out there can come forward with information that leads to justice for Tanya. Sending all my love and strength to those who knew her. ?️
Hey everyone,
I stumbled upon an interesting question while thinking about Tanya Askew's case. It's just so unsettling to see it still unsolved, especially knowing how loved she was in her community. I was wondering if anyone has thoughts on the impact this case has had on the perception of safety in downtown Augusta. Given that Tanya often spent time in that area, it makes me curious if locals or visitors have changed their habits or feelings about being downtown since her tragic death. For those living in or familiar with Augusta, how do you feel about downtown now? Do you think this has pushed the community to be more vigilant or sparked any new initiatives to improve neighborhood safety? Would love to hear your insights. It's just so important that we keep talking about these issues in hopes that it will lead to some kind of resolution both for the community and Tanya’s loved ones.
