I can't stop thinking about that 8-year-old in the backseat during the shooting of Brian Lamar Sclafford-Clemons. It must have been terrifying for that child, and now they have to process such a traumatic event at such a young age. The fact that they only suffered minor injuries is a small blessing, but the emotional scars are likely far deeper. I really hope the child and the rest of Brian's family are getting the support they need during this incredibly tough time. It's just so unfair that a loving father and husband could have his life taken away in such a senseless act. My heart goes out to them, and I sincerely hope the community steps up with any information so that justice can be served for Brian and his family.
