I’ve been following Joseph Briggs Jr.'s case closely, and my thoughts are with his family and loved ones. One aspect that really struck me is the determination of the investigators and how tirelessly they worked for nearly a year. It's mind-boggling to think about the tenacity it must have taken to trace Deron Bell all the way to Baton Rouge. The effort they put in to not let this crime go unanswered is commendable. It's reassuring, in a world where so many cases seem to go cold, to see justice finally served for Joseph. I hope this gives his family some sense of closure, knowing that the person responsible is held accountable.
