Has anyone else read about the impact this case had on the community, especially the residents of Wilson Apartments? It’s horrifying to think about the trauma inflicted on those who live there and had to witness such violence, particularly the children. Reports mentioned that some were forced to hide and take cover while the shooting took place. It’s hard to imagine how terrifying that must have been. The violence didn’t just stop with Jesse and Saiveon; it rippled through the entire community, leaving long-lasting scars. I really hope there are ongoing support and resources available for them to heal and rebuild a sense of safety in their own homes. My heart is with everyone affected.
