I've been following the case of Tanesha Danielle Thomas closely, and it's just so upsetting to think about the ripple effect this tragedy has had on her friends, family, and the community at large. One thing that's been on my mind is the role of domestic violence in this incident. It’s extremely concerning how often these situations go unnoticed until it’s too late. The fact that Leonard Holmes was already a convicted felon and still got his hands on a firearm just makes my skin crawl. The dynamics in these relationships can be really complicated, and it often makes it hard for those outside of it to understand what was really going on. I hope that anyone who might be in a similar situation feels empowered to reach out for help and that those around them are able to offer support and understanding. This community needs to rally together to ensure something like this doesn’t happen again.
