Hey all, I've been thinking a lot about the Pendleton Homes community after this tragic incident involving little Kameron. It’s such a tight-knit neighborhood, and I can't imagine the ripple effect of this loss. Besides the obvious focus on gun safety and accountability, I wonder how the community is supporting each other right now. With so many families living close together and likely knowing each other, these bonds can really help or hurt during tough times. Does anyone know if there have been any community initiatives or resources set up to help the families and kids cope with this? Support systems in communities like this are so crucial, especially after such a devastating event. Sending strength and love to all affected.

I can't wrap my head around how something so tragic could happen to such a young child. Kameron's death is a painful reminder of the vulnerabilities children face in environments where firearms aren't safely secured. I keep thinking about the responsibility we all have to ensure our homes are safe for kids, whether they're our own or just visiting. It breaks my heart for Kameron’s family, especially knowing they have to live with this loss. And the teenagers involved—I can't even imagine the burden they're carrying right now. It's important for us to have conversations about gun safety, educate everyone involved, and implement changes to hopefully prevent more senseless tragedies like this. My heart goes out to everyone touched by this tragedy.
