Has anyone looked into the area around Jerry Holcomb’s property for old wells or abandoned mine shafts? Given that the region has a history of mining, it might be worth considering whether any hidden hazards could play a role in his disappearance. Sometimes in similar cases, investigators uncover neglected sites or concealed openings that aren’t visible at first glance, especially in rural areas like Ivydale. Maybe it’s worth a second or third look, especially if initial searches missed any spots. What do you all think? Could this be a possibility worth exploring further?
Has anyone else looked into the local wildlife and natural terrain around Ivydale in relation to Jerry Holcomb's case? I was thinking about the possibility of natural factors being involved in his disappearance. The area is quite rugged, with lots of forests and wildlife that might complicate search efforts. I remember reading about some places being practically inaccessible, especially without specialized gear. Could there have been any incidents or accidents around that time that might have gone unnoticed? Just trying to brainstorm different angles that could be worth exploring. Thoughts?
Hey everyone, I’ve been following Jerry Holcomb’s case for a while now, and something that really stands out to me is how instrumental social media was in those early days after he disappeared. It seems like when someone goes missing, every second counts, and the way Jerry's family and community leveraged the internet is so commendable.
From what I’ve gathered, they set up various social media pages dedicated to finding him, and the response was overwhelming with shares and support not just locally, but from people all over. It's a testament to how community-focused folks came together, virtually and literally, hoping to bring him home.
Even though it has been years, it seems like keeping the case alive online is a big part of how the family is trying to keep the momentum going. It's also a reminder of the internet’s power as a tool and how it can be harnessed positively in situations like these!
Would love to hear your thoughts or any other similar cases where social media had a significant impact. Hoping for some positive updates soon!
