On April 4, 2015, Steven Jackson, a 29-year-old African American male, was fatally shot in Baltimore, Maryland. The incident occurred around 1:30 p.m. in the 3200 block of Elmley Avenue. Jackson sustained a gunshot wound to the head and succumbed to his injuries en route to the hospital. He was the nephew of then-Baltimore City Council President Jack Young.
