On a spring afternoon in Baltimore, Maryland, the life of 29-year-old Steven Jackson, a Black/African American man, was tragically cut short. On April 4, 2015, Jackson was shot in the head in the 3200 block of Elmley Avenue. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries. The shooting happened just after 1:30 p.m. in the afternoon, shaking the community and leaving a family to grapple with a sudden and violent loss.
