Hey everyone, I've been following the Ronnie Douglas Sutton case, and something that's been on my mind is the state of his truck when it was found. I've read that it was discovered at the Sheets Gap Overlook, but I haven't seen any details about whether there were any signs of struggle inside the vehicle. Was it locked? Were there any personal items left in it besides what he left at home? I feel like these details might give us a clue about Ronnie's mindset or what his intentions might have been. I hope anyone with more info can share their insights here. It’s frustrating that after all this time, we still don’t have answers. Keeping Ronnie’s family in my thoughts as they continue to search for him.
Hey everyone, I came across Ronnie Douglas Sutton's case and something struck me about the timeline of events. I read that Ronnie was last seen leaving his house late at night, and then his truck ended up 120 miles away at Sheets Gap Overlook on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Has anyone seen any reports or discussions about possible sightings or camera footage along that route? It seems pretty far to travel unnoticed.
I was curious because there aren’t many details on whether anyone saw him during that long stretch between Asheboro and the overlook. Did he make any stops, or was anyone else around who could provide more information? I feel like these kinds of details, even if they seem small, could really help piece together his whereabouts on that crucial night. It’s such a perplexing situation, and I really hope more comes to light soon. ?
Hey everyone,
I was thinking about Ronnie Douglas Sutton’s case and remembered the location where his truck was found—Sheets Gap Overlook on the Blue Ridge Parkway. It’s really puzzling to me. I mean, what was he doing 120 miles away from home in such a remote area? Does anyone know if he had a connection to that place or if he mentioned going there before to family or friends? It's quite a drive, especially considering he left his phone and medications behind. It's almost like he decided on the spot to go there or was meeting someone.
I’ve been reading about other cases where vehicles were discovered far from where missing people lived, and it's curious how often those locations hold clues or significant meaning. But with Sutton, there’s been nothing as far as I can tell. Such an enigma!
Just thought I'd throw this out there—maybe someone else remembers something or has more info on any ties he might have had to the area.
Stay safe, everyone!
