On December 9, 2011, police in Detroit, Michigan, responded to a call at a residence located at 12250 Rosemary Street. Upon arrival at the scene, law enforcement officers discovered the body of a 44-year-old African American male named Aundrea Garner. The discovery was made on the city's east side, in a residential neighborhood south of East McNichols Road and east of Dickerson Avenue.
