I can’t stop thinking about Shina’s son. This young man has been through absolute hell—losing his mother under such traumatic circumstances and then having to live with the fact that his stepfather, someone he probably once trusted, was responsible. I truly hope he’s getting all the support he needs to heal physically and emotionally. No one should have to endure such trauma, especially not at such a young age. The community’s response seems to be very supportive, but I hope that continues for the long term. His journey to recovery is just beginning, and he’ll need a lot of strength and care. Sending love and strength to him and everyone else affected.
I can't stop thinking about the brave young son in this tragic situation. Surviving multiple gunshot wounds at such a young age and losing his mother in such a horrific way is unimaginable. I hope he gets all the support and help he needs to heal, both physically and emotionally. It’s truly commendable how the community and the staff at Hillcrest Elementary have come together to support him. Domestic violence often leaves scars that aren't visible, and I hope that this young man gets the therapy and guidance he deserves to help cope with this unimaginable experience. Sending warm thoughts and strength to everyone affected.
