Has anyone else been following the developments around Elijah Rasheed's case? I came across the fact that on the night of the shooting, Elijah and his friends were simply out celebrating a promotion. It's so infuriating to think a joyous occasion turned into such a tragedy just because of someone's intolerance and hatred. The community has come together to support his family, and it's uplifting to see, but it’s also a stark reminder of the hate many people still face daily. How can society let such ignorance lead to deadly violence? I hope awareness of this case continues to grow, and we see more advocacy for better protections against such targeted attacks. Thoughts?
