I've been closely following the case of Taurus Jefferies Jr., and I can't stop thinking about the courage it must have taken for him to drive himself to the hospital after being shot. Just imagining that kind of strength and determination truly shows the kind of person he was. I mean, what kind of world are we living in where someone working on their dreams and education has this happen to them?
I've seen debates around how often crimes in certain areas go unsolved, and it’s really disheartening. Taurus’s mother, Regina, traveling all the way from Alabama, is just one more piece of evidence of how much he was dearly loved and supported. It must be so tough for her and the entire family right now, not having the answers they need or the justice they deserve.
