Hey everyone, I've been following the tragic case of Arfredrick "Little Fred" Magby's murder in College Park, and something that's really been on my mind is the role of law enforcement in the aftermath. It’s so upsetting to think about how Magby’s family had to endure a whole year without any closure while the suspect was still out there. It makes me wonder about the protocol and what more could be done to prevent situations like this from dragging on for so long. It's good to know that Dontavious Carr has finally been apprehended, but it doesn't erase the pain and loss for Magby’s family. I can't even begin to imagine the frustration and anger his father must feel, knowing that the suspect was on the run for so long. I hope that this case brings about some changes in how swiftly law enforcement acts in such serious situations. No family should ever have to wait so long for justice. My thoughts are with the Magby family and everyone who knew and loved Fred. Would love to hear others' thoughts on this, especially if there are any legal experts out there who can share insights on similar cases. Stay safe, everyone.
