Has anyone else noticed that the argument between Rafaeil Thomas and Lamarion Sherod Banks took place in broad daylight, on a busy street? It's both alarming and sad to think that no one was able to intervene or de-escalate the situation before it turned deadly. My heart goes out to Rafaeil's family and the entire Griffin community that must be grappling with such a public tragedy. It makes me wonder about community support and intervention—how can we better equip ourselves to prevent these kinds of tragedies in the future? It’s just so hard to think of the pain his loved ones must be feeling, especially knowing it all happened so openly and quickly. I hope there is some healing for everyone affected by this senseless act.
