It's incredibly saddening to hear about what happened to Victoria and her mother. The fact that her ex-husband had a history of domestic violence makes this situation even more chilling. I really hope this case draws more attention to the importance of helping those in abusive relationships before they escalate. It's tragic how these warning signs were there but it seems like more could've been done to protect Victoria and her family. My thoughts are with them and the baby—thankfully unharmed—who will have to grow up dealing with this awful loss. May Victoria and her family find peace, and may this tragedy serve as a wake-up call for stronger interventions in domestic violence situations.
