Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Jazhae Monta Marshall, and something that's been weighing on my mind is the involvement of the 12-year-old witness during that tragic night at Dunwoody Pointe Apartments. I can't imagine how terrifying it must have been for them to witness such violence. It's a lot for a young mind to process, and I hope they're receiving the support they need to navigate this trauma. The impact on children who witness these acts is often understated, but it's crucial we address their emotional and psychological needs too. If anyone knows of resources or organizations that provide support to young witnesses of crime, it would be great to share that information here. Let's keep Jazhae's family in our thoughts and also remember the other lives affected by the ripples of this tragedy. Every bit of justice and healing counts.

I can't stop thinking about the impact this has had on the 12-year-old who witnessed the shooting. Exposing a child to such violence at such a young age is terrible; I hope they are getting all the support and counseling they need. It's important that the community rallies around this kid and Jazhae’s family during such a difficult time. It also makes me wonder about the emotional state Jamari must have been in to make such a drastic decision. A lot of lives have been changed forever, and it's just so sad to see young lives being ripped apart like this. Keeping all involved in my thoughts.

Has anyone else been following the legal proceedings in the Jazhae Monta Marshall case? It's absolutely tragic what happened to him, and my heart goes out to his family and friends who must be going through so much right now. I can’t even imagine their pain. One aspect I'm curious about is the involvement of a 12-year-old witness. It's horrifying to think that a child had to see such violence unfold right in front of them. I really hope there are resources in place to help them process this trauma. It makes you wonder what kind of support system is available for young witnesses in cases like this. Does anyone know what kind of psychological services are generally provided in these situations? It's so important that justice is served for Jazhae, but I also hope there's a focus on healing for everyone affected, especially the young ones. If anyone has updates on how the trial is going or how the community is coming together to support each other, I'd appreciate hearing about it.
