Hey everyone, I’ve been following the tragic case of Percy Luther Johnson, and I keep thinking about the safety concerns it’s brought to light. It’s troubling to see how crime has been increasing, especially in places where people should feel safe. I know there's been a lot of online chatter about better patrolling downtown Augusta, and it's definitely needed.
It really hits home to think that Percy was just visiting family for Father's Day—something so ordinary turned into a horrific event. I can’t imagine the pain his loved ones must be going through, especially knowing there were witnesses but no arrests yet.
With the Augusta community already on edge from the previous week’s incident involving Logan Etterle, I hope this pushes local authorities to take definitive action. More than just justice for Percy, it's about making sure such tragedies don't keep repeating. Has anyone here noticed any changes in the area or heard of community efforts to boost safety since this happened?
Keeping Percy’s family in my thoughts and hoping they get the answers and justice they deserve soon.
Hey everyone,
I've been following the tragic case of Percy Luther Johnson and I can't stop thinking about how this has affected his family, especially since he was just visiting Augusta for Father's Day. It’s so sad that a weekend meant for family bonding turned into such a nightmare. I can't even imagine how his loved ones are dealing with all of this pain and unanswered questions.
I read that there were plenty of people around when it happened, but still, nobody has come forward with information that could help the police. It’s just mind-boggling. I wonder if people are afraid to speak up or if there's something more going on. And with this being the second shooting on Broad Street in such a short time, it makes me worried about the safety of that area.
I hope that anyone who knows anything finds the courage to speak up soon. No family should be left without answers in such a devastating situation. My heart goes out to Percy’s family and friends.
Stay safe, everyone.
Hey everyone, I've been reading through the threads about Percy Luther Johnson's tragic death, and I can't stop thinking about the impact this must be having on his family, especially since he was there for Father's Day. It's unimaginable for a loved one to go for a simple family visit and end up not coming back. Has anyone heard if there’s been any movement from community groups to support his family during this time? I really hope they have a strong network rallying around them for support. It's so crucial that families aren’t left to navigate this alone, especially when answers are sparse and justice seems far off. Such a sad situation all around.
