Hey everyone, I've been following the heartbreaking case of Abel Castellanos Camacho, and I can't stop thinking about the parents. As a mother myself, I just can't imagine the pain Abel's mom, Maria, must be going through. Moving to a new country with hopes for a brighter future only to face such tragedy—I feel for her deeply. Her call to action on gun control really struck a chord with me. It's frighteningly easy for young people to get their hands on weapons, and it just shouldn't be this way. Also, I read that the family has moved to a new home to get away from those painful memories. I completely understand that decision. Sometimes a change of scenery is necessary to start healing, but I hope they have a strong support system in place wherever they've decided to go. Abel's death has certainly left a mark on many of us, and I continue to send my thoughts to his family and their community. ? Curious to hear if anyone's had similar thoughts or if there are local initiatives in Abel's honor that we can support to help make changes.
